Registration for the 2025 Festival will open on January 20, 2025. Music Festival Suite made several changes to our program so it would be a good idea to login to your profile and check things out BEFORE you are stressing about registering! Watch FB and email early in January for more details.
We celebrate students of all ages to participate in music and speech arts with those from age 5–28 qualifying for awards, scholarships and selection to the Alberta Provincial Music Festival. We have well over 1000 entries with participants from northern British Columbia and Alberta.
The Grande Prairie Music Festival is a member of the Alberta Music Festival Association

Thanks go out to all of the performers, parents, teachers, adjudicators and volunteers who helped make the 2025 festival a great success.
Plans for the 2026 festival are underway and will be posted on this site as soon as details are available.
The Grande Prairie and District Music Festival Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 24 at 7:00pm at St. Paul’s United Church. Everyone is invited to attend and help plan future performance opportunities for all of the young musiciians in our area.
