Registration for the 2026 Festival will open on January 12, 2026.

We celebrate students of all ages to participate in music and speech arts with those from age 5–28 qualifying for awards, scholarships and selection to the Alberta Provincial Music Festival. We have well over 1000 entries with participants from northern British Columbia and Alberta.

The Grande Prairie and District Music Festival Association welcomes applications for volunteers for the following positions during the festival.   

• Door /Greeter (directs participants & audience at venue) 

• Adjudicator Secretary (assist adjudicators) 

• Marshalls (coordinate music groups moving from music room to concert room 

• Festival volunteers are needed for morning, afternoon and some evening shifts from March 29 to May 1, 2026
