We celebrate students of music and speech arts from age 5–28 in our 3 week festival. We have well over 1000 entries with participants from northern British Columbia and Alberta.

Event Info
The Grande Prairie & District Music Festival will be implementing the Government of Alberta Vaccine Restrictions Exemption Program for the 2022 Festival year. This means anyone (performer, parent, family member, accompanist, etc.) attending the April 2022 Music Festival who is 12 years of age or older will have to be prepared to prove via QR Code that they are double vaccinated (can be on your phone or a printed copy), have documentation of a medical exemption, or proof of a privately paid negative PCR test within 72 hours of when they are to perform/attend the festival.
PLEASE NOTE: The Festival will adjust accordingly when and if the Provincial Public Health Regulations change leading up to and through the Festival.
